Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and improve your browsing experience. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our Service, analyze traffic, and personalize content.
2. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are needed to provide the service you ask for — showing you a price, keeping your cart, signing you in, and remembering your cookie choice. They cannot be switched off in the cookie settings, because the site cannot do those things without them. None of them is used for advertising or to follow you across other websites.
Country, currency and language
Prices, VAT and which products can be sold to you all depend on your country, so we cannot show you a price without knowing it. These cookies hold only a short code — such as DE, EUR or en — and no identifier.
- gt_country — The country we price the site for. On your first visit it is taken from the country of your internet connection.
- gt_currency — The currency prices are shown in, which follows your country (EUR or USD).
- gt_lang — The language the site is shown in (English unless you pick another).
If we detected these values for you, they are session cookies and are deleted when you close your browser. Once you confirm your country, currency and language in the country and language selector, or have them saved to your account, we keep all three for 180 days, so you do not have to choose again on every visit. We also keep that choice in your browser's local storage (gamerthor-locale) until you change it or clear your browser data.
Cart
- cart_session_id — A random identifier that links your browser to your cart, so it is still there on the next page and when you come back. It is set when you first add a product to your cart, and expires after 30 days.
- cart_ids — The products and quantities in your cart, so pages can show what is already in it. Set when you add a product, removed when your cart is empty, and expires after 30 days.
Sign-in and security
- fa_refresh_token — Keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in, removed when you sign out, and lasts no longer than your sign-in session.
- fa_csrf_token — Protects your account against cross-site request forgery. Set when you sign in, removed when you sign out, and expires after 30 days.
- auth-storage (session storage) — Your sign-in state for the current browser tab, deleted when you close it.
Your cookie choice
- gt_consent — Which optional categories you allowed, and when, so we do not ask you on every page. Set when you make a choice in the cookie banner, and kept for 12 months. The same choice is also kept in local storage (
gamerthor-consent).
3. Analytics and Error Tracking
With your permission only, we measure how the site performs and collect the errors you run into, so we can fix them. We use Grafana Faro for this. It records page views, loading times and errors, together with your browser type and the page address. It sets no cookies; it keeps a random session identifier in your browser's session storage (com.grafana.faro.session), which is deleted when you close the tab.
Nothing in this category runs until you turn it on in the cookie banner, and it stops when you turn it off.
4. Marketing Cookies
The cookie banner lets you allow or refuse marketing cookies, but we do not currently use any. If we start, we will list them here and ask you again before setting them.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services integrated into our website:
- Stripe — When you open the checkout, Stripe sets cookies (such as
__stripe_midand__stripe_sid) that are needed to process your payment and to prevent fraud. They are governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. - FusionAuth — Sets cookies on its own sign-in pages to manage your session while you sign in.
6. Managing Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies aside, nothing in the categories above is set until you allow it. On your first visit we ask, and analytics stay off unless you choose to turn them on. You can change that decision at any time, as easily as you made it — no setting is harder to switch off than it was to switch on.
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Cookie settings on this site — The Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page reopens the consent dialog, where you can grant or withdraw each non-essential category and see what is currently allowed.
- Browser settings— Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies in your browser may prevent the website from functioning correctly. You may be unable to log in or complete purchases without them.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
