Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to GamerThor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GamerThor website and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Stega Distributions UG (haftungsbeschränkt), trading as GamerThor ("we", "us", or "our"). Full company details are in our Imprint. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

Accounts are for persons aged 18 or over. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and to buy from our Service.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. User Accounts

To purchase products on GamerThor, you must create an account using one of our supported authentication methods (e.g., Google OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Digital Products

GamerThor is an online store for digital game keys and related non-tangible digital goods. We are the only seller: there are no third-party sellers. When you purchase a product, you receive a digital activation key that can be redeemed on the applicable platform (currently Steam, and NordVPN or NordPass for software subscriptions).

We do not sell physical goods. All products are delivered digitally and are normally available in your account library immediately after successful payment.

5. Key Delivery

Upon successful payment, your game key is normally delivered instantly to your GamerThor account. You can access your purchased keys in your account library at any time. An email confirmation with order details will also be sent to your registered email address.

If our distributor is temporarily out of stock, we email you and you choose: wait for the restock, or cancel for a full refund.

6. Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) for customers in Europe and in US Dollars (USD) elsewhere. The currency is chosen from your country and can be changed with the currency selector; the currency shown on the product page is the currency you are charged in. We accept credit and debit cards, processed by Stripe. Applicable taxes are included in the displayed price where required by law.

We reserve the right to modify prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been completed.

7. Refund Policy

Refunds for digital products are governed by our Refund Policy. Until you reveal a key, you can cancel the order for a full refund at any time; this goes beyond the 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

At checkout you are asked to confirm two things separately: that you want your key delivered immediately, and that you understand revealing or redeeming it ends your 14-day right of withdrawal for that key. That confirmation is what makes a redeemed key non-refundable; until you give it, we do not deliver the key. Your statutory rights where a key is faulty, invalid or not as described are unaffected either way.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on GamerThor, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of GamerThor or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Game keys sold on our platform are licensed by their respective publishers and platform holders.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service content without our prior written consent.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Resell or redistribute purchased keys for commercial purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Use automated means to access or interact with the Service without our permission
• Provide false or misleading information during registration
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity. You may also request account deletion by contacting [email protected].

Upon termination, your right to access the Service will cease immediately. Any unredeemed keys in your account will remain accessible for 30 days following termination to allow you to retrieve them.

11. Limitation of Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).

For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual obligation, that is, an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely (cardinal obligation). In that case our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Apart from the cases above, we are not liable for slight negligence. These limitations also apply to the personal liability of our legal representatives, employees and agents.

12. Governing Law

German law applies. For consumers, this choice does not remove the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence.

If you are a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contracts with us is our registered office. If you are a consumer, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will publish the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. A change applies only to orders placed after it is published. The Terms in force when you placed an order govern that order.
